The journal Almanaque is aimed at professionals, researchers, students, faculty and general public interested in academic research in the field of Social Sciences. It is a biannual, open access, multidisciplinary periodical, which aims to publicize unpublished research articles of high quality.

Its purpose is to disseminate studies of an academic nature that contribute to a better understanding of contemporary society. In this sense, it is open to the publication of national and international empirical, methodological or theoretical research results. The journal covers a wide range of topics within the field of Sociology and Social Sciences, such as public opinion studies, methodology, demography, social structure and change, political science, sociological theory, anthropology or social psychology. Papers are published in Spanish and English.
