Research Data Availability Policy – Cuadernos Unimetanos

To facilitate the evaluation, validation, and reproducibility of research, as well as the reuse of data, codes, and materials used in its design, development, and communication, Cuadernos Unimetanos recommends that data generated during the preparation of an article be deposited in open-access repositories that adhere to the FAIR principles (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability).

Each repository has specific rules for data deposit. Therefore, it is essential to understand their policies regarding content, collections, data, metadata, and record preservation. If necessary, the re3data Registry of Research Data Repositories can be consulted to select the appropriate repository.

If research data have been deposited in a repository, this must be explicitly mentioned in the article under the section “Availability of Deposited Data,” as specified in the journal’s article template. This mention should include a brief description of the data, the name and URL of the repository, the identifier code, and the terms of the usage and distribution license.

The reuse of these data is permitted under the terms of the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International) license.
