Informed Consent for Publication – Cuadernos Unimetanos
For articles that include data from studies or research involving human participants or based on clinical trials, Cuadernos Unimetanos ensures the protection of participants’ privacy rights.
Authors are responsible for safeguarding the privacy of individuals by anonymizing personal data in both the article's content and images, removing any identifiers that could reveal participants’ identities. This includes compliance with data protection regulations.
If an author wishes to include personal information or images of third parties, they must provide the corresponding informed consent documentation. Editors may request proof from authors regarding ethical aspects, such as how informed consent was obtained from research participants, should questions or clarifications arise.
Authors are required to retain written consents, and editors may request copies or evidence of these consents when necessary.
Should it be discovered after publication that information was included without the proper informed consent, the article will be temporarily retracted until the issue is resolved.
