About the Journal

The journal Almanaque is intended for professionals, researchers, students, faculty, and the general public interested in academic research in the Social Sciences field. It is a biannual periodical publication, of open-access, multidisciplinary, which aims to make unprecedented articles of high-quality investigation known.

Its aim is to disseminate studies of academic nature that contribute to the best knowledge of contemporary society. In this sense, it is open to the publication of results of empirical investigations, methodological, or theoretical nationwide or internationally. The journal covers a wide range of topics enrolled in the field of Sociology and Social Sciences, such as studies of public concerns, methodology, demography, structure and social change, political science, sociological theory, anthropology, and social psychology. The works are published in Spanish and English.
