Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Is the submission file in Microsoft Word or OpenOffice format (any version)?
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • Under the extract and the abstract are the keywords (7 to 9) separated by semicolons and with a period?
  • Does the text meet the stylistic and bibliographic conditions included in the publication guidelines?
  • Are you aware that the article will be published under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License?
  • Is it published with the consent of all its authors and by the responsible authorities?
  • Are you aware that the originality and right of first publication letter, duly completed and signed by all authors, must be attached to the article?
  • Have you consulted and applied the Research Data Repository Policy of the journal?
  • Is each author's name followed by his/her full academic affiliation and institutional e-mail address?
  • Is the academic identifier ORCID (mandatory), Google Scholar, ResearchGate, etc., included after the short CV?
  • Does the article contain the extract in Spanish and the abstract in English?
  • Are the extract and abstract between 200 and 250 words?
  • Does the text provide information on whether the source data of the research take into account gender, in order to allow the identification of possible differences?
  • Have all tables, graphs and images been labeled with the title and authorship or source?
  • Are images or figures at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi?
  • Is the maximum number of bibliographical references 50?
  • Does the format of citations in the text and in the final bibliography follow the latest edition of the APA Guidelines?
  • Have the final references been rigorously reviewed and are only those that have been cited in the text included?
